Receptionist Pay Rate:
$20 an hour Shift:
1st Shift- 8 am to 5 pm ( Monday to Friday) Location:
Cindy Lane, Carpinteria, CA, 93013 Job Description Answer and direct incoming calls, taking and delivering messages when necessary.
Greets and directs visitors.
Will be scanning documents into system ( Computer efficient ) Will need to memorize buildings and who is where (7 buildings) Lifting on a regular basis (20lbs-30lbs) 30%min walking throughout the day Processes all incoming and outgoing mail and faxes, including distribution proper postage, etc.
Prepares customs documents for inter-company shipments.
Scans and updates work copies of orders to K:
drive.
Maintains Capacity Planning spreadsheet and uploads to K:
drive.
Separates invoices and forwards copies as required.
Clerical duties such as typing correspondence and documents, filing work orders, purchase orders and Certificates of Analysis.
Maintains and updates branch calendar.
Orders office supplies.
Reviews Visitor Log Book at the end of every business day to ensure all visitors have signed out.
Supports production projects by labelling bags, envelopes or cartons at desk when time allows.
Reports security and/or health and safety infractions or potential infractions in a timely manner and to the appropriate contacts.
Performs other related tasks that his/her supervisor deems necessary for the efficient operation of the department.
