Outdoor Nature Playgroup Leader

This job will be to play with and guide children ages 3-5 years old.
Our Terrain Program is a four-hour drop-off outdoor forest school program.
Terrain is a small group, child-led, outdoor exploration and nature play program.
Children get to hike, explore, climb trees, pick flowers, watch wildlife, play in the dirt, listen to read-aloud stories, build forts, create stick and rock structures, collect leaves and seeds, run, play, and imagine.
We want children to savor these precious early years by imagining and exploring the beautiful outdoors.
Students will get to enjoy all the different terrains that the park has to offer:
open trails, eucalyptus tree groves, working educational farm, flower fields, the beach, and grassy open spaces.
Our location is along the beautiful Carpinteria Bluffs Nature Preserve, among the majestic eucalyptus and cypress groves and the wildflower fields.
Qualifications:
You are patient and able to guide young children toward exploration.
You have 3 references who will validate your track record of being trustworthy, safe, consistent, and nurturing.
Bonus if you are capable of teaching basic Spanish vocabulary along the journey, but not required.
You are available Mondays from 9:
00am - 1:
00pm.
