by Newsweek magazine, is hiring an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for its Skilled Nursing team.
The ADON assists the Director of Nursing (DON) to plan, lead, organize, and evaluate nursing services that meet the total needs of our residents.
S/he ensures an efficient health facility operation in cooperation with other departments and provides care in accordance with our Philosophy for Person-Directed Care.
Annual Salary:
$119,000 to $134,000 (Depending on Experience)Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Participating actively in clinical staff training and developmentAssisting the DON in building and sustaining a world-class nursing teamSupervising/making daily rounds with floor nurses, ensuring appropriate and necessary resident care is provided at all timesInteracting with residents and their families; answering their questions and offering them support and direction as neededAttending resident review and IDT meetings To be successful in this role you would have:
Current CA RN licenseCurrent CPR CertificationBS Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and related experienceMinimum of one-year of professional management experienceCurrent Skilled Nursing leadership experienceExcellent clinical observation and assessment skillsProficient computer skills necessary to complete documentation, review electronic health records, and communicate with team members What's in it for you?
