Product Marketing Manager - Silicone

Explore opportunities with a global leader in medical device manufacturing We are currently hiring for a Product Marketing Manager who is: o Able to understand and drive the strategic market placement in Silicone Contract Manufacturing with a push for creativity and innovation. o Analytical, meticulous and detail oriented to support customer efforts with new product quotes and launches. o Self-motivated and thrives in a fast -paced, team-driven, "lean" systems environment, where every day brings new projects and challenges.
Your tasks
?Serving as executive inside customer contact person for all commercial matters
?Support sales team to win business
?Provide guidance to sales by identifying target customers and segments that support long term growth and match Strategic Business Unit (SBU) strategy.
?Coordinates with Sales the reasons for missed opportunities and leads the effort to implement needed corrective actions to improve win rate.
?Initiate and facilitate technical and market trends training to sales reps
?Champion the development of content for literature
?Coordinate input from all areas inside the organization (process, production, finance etc.) and outside (material, tool suppliers) to generate and deliver quotes: on time, supporting the strategy (P/Ls, segments, margins etc.)
?Coordinate quotes with/for Partner Productions (i.e. Asia, Costa Rica) and Regional Business Units (RBU)
?Ensure efficiency of the quoting process and systems, and the accuracy of the data
Commercial & Pricing Strategy
?Develop and implement growth strategy for the SBU
?Support SBU in STRAP process (STRAtegic Planning) and its execution
?Develop and implement SBU pricing strategy to support strategic planning.
?Ensure consistent and correct pricing, in ERP system, price lists etc. Monitor key cost drivers - and initiate and facilitate actions to ensure consistent margins at target level
?Regularly assess portfolio for non-/low-margin parts
?Forecasting for operations and annual AOP
?Coordinate with managers to introduce new products, capability additions, product improvements, and product cost reduction initiatives. Partners with Site Program/Quote team, Sales Team, and other SBU Product Marketing Managers to coordinate prospecting efforts utilizing KPI's to measure success.
?Market/ Competitor analysis and monitoring
?Responsible for measuring the effectiveness / ROI for marketing expenditures
?Responsible for documented completion of training for staff/employees
?Contribute to produce the highest quality products with an economical benefit, all under the systematic approach of ISO 9001:2003 and ISO 13485
?Provide guidance and supervision to Quoting team at the SBU level.
?Tradeshow selection and attendance
Our expectations
?Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business or Marketing
?3+ years of experience in a manufacturing organization - in a technical field highly desired; medical device experience
?Must have experience in effectively addressing customers, suppliers, and strategic partners.
?Exposure to forecasting and budgeting,
?Experience in giving presentations to executive, customers, etc.
?Experience in supporting a broad range of products/capabilities through multiple sales channels.
?Experience in product marketing in a medical or healthcare related business and related product lines
?Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; advanced experience with PowerPoint.
?Experience with CRM software packages and internet tools (Google Adwords, etc) required.
?Working knowledge of SalesForce.com desired.
?Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills to effectively work in a team environment; high customer empathy and desire to enthusiastically serve.
?Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects, track progress of projects and stay on schedule. Strong planning and organizational skills.
?General professional, business acumen including: cost estimating, financial analysis, and ROI activities.

?Effective leadership skills, strong decision making skills, and ability to work lead a team.
?Travel required: 30% using corporate travel practices.
Preferred Qualifications
?Knowledge of Silicone Industry
?Certification in Lean Systems and/or Six Sigma
?Previous supervisory experience
?Direct experience in creation of strategic marketing plans
