Scientist, Cancer Diagnostics Development

Demonstration of excellent communication and teamwork skills
Proven proficiency in biology techniques including: immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, fluorescent techniques, protein biochemistry; cell biology and molecular biology a plus
Strong quantitative data analysis skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work independently with speed and focus
Minimum of 2 years laboratory experience in biology and/or biochemistry
Work experience in regulated industry highly desired
Minimum requirement MS in biology or biochemistry, Ph.D. preferred

The Scientist, Cancer Diagnostics Development position will work in a cross-functional team that supports clinical trials testing new targeted anti-cancer drugs, by developing tailored companion diagnostic assays. The DAKO brand within Agilent Technologies is one of the leaders in the field of companion diagnostics, partnering with various pharmaceutical companies, in order to bring their precision medicine drugs to market. We are looking for a talented and dedicated intermediate level biologist to join our Companion Diagnostics Group in our Research and Development Department. You will work closely with experts in clinical science, regulatory affairs, immunoproduction and quality assurance to develop accurate, robust and precise assays. Your challenge will be to create value for Agilent through innovative ideas that either create new businesses or enhance existing ones.
Here is what you will be measured on:
Researching, developing and applying systems to develop immunohistochemistry assays, in situ hybridization assays, and possibly molecular biology-based assays.
Defining and designing the optimal development path for each product within our workflow and adhering to our quality management system framework. Quality is our passion.
Working with internal and external collaborators to employ Agilent's automated staining and labeling solutions for cancer diagnostics.
Execution of all aspects of experiments including planning, execution, quantitative data analysis and interpretation while striving to improve assay-related protocols and data analysis methods.
Ensuring success through collaboration with your team on your work.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
