We are looking for an Executive Assistant to provide executive and organizational support to senior leaders at LinkedIn. The ideal candidate must be proactive with excellent problem solving and judgment skills. The individual must be able to handle details of a highly confidential and critical nature, interact comfortably and skillfully with senior level executives within and outside the company, as well as with customers, vendors and visitors. He/she will be expected to resolve time sensitive issues with a high degree of precision and exhibit strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and the ability to anticipate the needs of the executive are a must. The ability to credibly and competently interact with other executive assistants and managers within/outside of LinkedIn is required. The individual will be expected to apply common sense and execute tasks with minimal direction. Individual must demonstrate ability to accommodate flexible work schedule, based on the needs of management and the department.
Responsibilities:
+ Planning, organizing and managing multiple calendars
+ Coordinating all meetings, special events such as department all-hands, off-sites, or external events on behalf of manager in coordination with events and media teams to ensure all logistics are executed smoothly
+ Coordinating all travel arrangements; negotiate best rates with vendors and travel agents
+ Managing and reconciling expense reports and purchase requisitions submissions
+ Develop and manage meeting communications and cadence activities
+ Collecting and preparing information for the use in presentations/meetings
+ May work with Finance for monthly budget reconciliation
+ May help leader draft communications when required
+ Act as facilities coordinator for the local team and office location
+ Manage special projects for and with the senior staff requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to find solutions.
+ Proficiently handles all internal and external requests and responds in a timely basis.
+ Provides back-up coverage for same level leaders, as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
+ 3+ years of experience working at a senior administrative assistant and/or executive assistant level
+ 1+ years of project coordination or management experience
+ Experience using Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Exhibits confidence, composure and professionalism in a fast-paced environment
+ Demonstrates strong organizational skills
+ Expert knowledge of Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
+ Excellent multi-tasking skills with an ability to prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision
+ Team player with a positive attitude
+ Ability to work independently and proactively
+ Flexibility and the ability to change directions quickly
+ Ability to take initiative and exercise good judgment, discretion, and confidentiality in all tasks
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Ability to learn/adopt new technologies and processes

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
