IT Quality Assurance Analyst

Job SummaryThe Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for testing NuSil applications to ensure they function properly. The QA Analyst will work closely with the software Development team. He/she is responsible for creating an end-to-end test plan; executing the plan and managing all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met and that the solution works as expected.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Reviews user requirements to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables
Identifies test requirements from specifications and maps test case requirements
Develops, documents and maintains test cases, validation protocols, and validation reports
Holds and facilitates test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members.
Ensures product quality and positive user experience
Keeps accurate documentation
May train employees on the use of software
Provides additional administrative support as needed
Must be regular and punctual in attendance
Responsible for maintaining quality within the scope of the job description
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be a quick learner and detail-oriented; and possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of software development, project management techniques, Quality Management software/processes and the manufacturing industry is a plus.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience at NuSil Technology. Proficient in WORD/EXCEL.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
