3001647 Job Description As the Senior Director of our Pathology Order Fulfilment facility in Carpinteria, California, you will be the supply chain leader of exciting and growing product lines in Agilent's Diagnostics Group Portfolio. This is a high-visibility operation with both solid established brands and a pipeline of new products for Life Science customers. You will have the opportunity managing different production teams, executing company strategies, setting manufacturing objectives and KPI standards to ensure successful company growth. In this role you will work with a team of 4 direct reports to inspire a site of more than 85 employees and creating value for the company to achieve operational excellence in manufacturing. Executing strategic projects to develop and grow the team and site including exploring future technologies to establish this site as a competitive advantage toAgilent  Work closely with the companion diagnostics organization in launching new diagnostic products and cancer indications, leading the team in smooth transfer of new products and new technologies into manufacturing from R&D Fostering an environment that ensures collaborative relationships with R&D, Marketing and sales teams which enables effective new product development, manufacturing integration, launch and ramp to volume. Driving management and development of new product launches at the manufacturing level. Cultivating a continuous improvement culture and improvement of business processes in manufacturing. More than +10 years of experience, with proven success managing resources across complex functions (sales, marketing, product development, quality, regulatory, manufacturing, and end-to-end supply chain) and working with teams across multiplegeographies to meet and exceed customer needs. Experience managing within a highly regulated GMP manufacturing environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. Knowledge of quality management system requirements (ISO13485, FDA CFR 21 Part 820) and IVD/Medical Devices regulations in US and globally Strong insights and business acumen skills, analytical problem-solving skills, understanding of financials, operations and commercial growth. Demonstrated leadership and technical experience as well as a proven track record of transferring technology and products from R&D to manufacturing Strong background in continuous improvement and knowledge in efficient business processes, driving positive change and improvement across the organization.  High energy, inspirational leadership skills with exceptional communication and team building ability. Ability to quickly demonstrate credibility and build support for necessary initiatives.  Bachelor or Master's Degree, in a biological science or engineering and/or with relevant working experience. Passionate, inspirational, strategic thinker with a desire to excel and inspire others Ability to articulate strategic vision and operational tactics to influence positive change for the organization. Proven experience in communicating with high profile customers and building long-term successful customer relationships Willingness to travel abroad occasionally to support business related requirements and meetings with global teams Additional Preferences: Experience translating manufacturing and/or quality processes into digital processes to increase efficiency and reduce cycle time. Master's in Business Administration Experience generating strategies and execution plans within team and aligned with other Order Fulfillment, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing executives. Proven track record to attract, develop and lead a highly-engaged manufacturing or supply chain team
