National Account Manager

Job Summary Reports to Vice President Marketing & Sales. Responsible for all sales efforts, including outside independent sales personnel. Provides technical sales information. Directs domestic sales efforts. Develops goals and strategies of sales. Develops systems to collect marketing data. Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals. Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly. Assigns sales territory to sales representatives. Must be regular and punctual in attendance Responsible for maintaining quality within the scope of the job description. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in marketing of technology and technical products.  Knowledge of chemistry or materials engineering.  Experience in sales and managing customer relations.  Customer service background desirable. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
